FLASH: Attestation with LexisNexis and Prior Authorization Priority

Our provider directories are a key resource for our members to reach you. Members use them to search for new providers, get directions to clinics, and find contact information to schedule appointments.

As part of the recently enacted No Surprises Act, we are required to receive attestations of directory information from providers on a quarterly basis.  To help us meet those requirements, we have partnered with LexisNexis Health Care and its Verify Health Care Portal (Verify HCP) solution. Verify HCP lets you verify directory information online for several payers at the same time, which means each payer won’t need to contact you individually.

LexisNexis will reach out initially via email for each provider, or their office staff, to review directory information and if necessary will follow up with phone calls and faxes.  We would appreciate cooperation with LexisNexis so that we will have a complete and accurate provider directory for our members and your patients.

Also, when requesting authorizations in our Altruista ® portal and choosing the priority for authorizations, please do not use the options that are labeled for HAMP Use Only.
