FLASH: CPT Codes 27279 and 27280 Now Managed by eviCore

As of 8/1/19, CPT codes 27279 and 27280 are now managed by eviCore and both require PA. When selecting the CPT code for a case, you’ll receive the message below:

Select “OK” and the CPT code will change to SPINE, then SPINE SURGERY. Enter the specific CPT code in the pathway. If you have questions, contact your provider relations specialist.
