FLASH: IMPACT Provider Revalidation Reminder

The Illinois Medicaid Program Advanced Cloud Technology (IMPACT) initiative is a multi-agency effort to implement a Web-based system to give providers a more convenient and consistent user experience and to make sure Medicaid patients receive timely and high-quality care.

The current phase of IMPACT involves enrolling and revalidating all Medicaid providers in the IMPACT system. The revalidation period for currently enrolled providers is open through December 31.

The Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) reminds all current Medicaid providers that they must validate their data on the HFS website by December 31 to continue participating in the Medicaid program. Providers who do not validate by the deadline will be required to complete a new application.
