FLASH: Important Information About Prior Authorizations

When we migrated to our new provider portal (Epic Tapestry Link) on January 3, 2023, the process of migrating seamlessly to the eviCore and GuidingCare sites to complete prior authorizations ceased to work. We’ve been working to correct those seamless transitions and we’re happy to announce that as of today, those are now back in place within Epic Tapestry Link.

URGENT FLASH: Evicore Search Criteria Changes

In order to more effectively serve our members, Evicore is making changes to how provider searches can be completed within their system.  With this change you will no longer be able to use the provider name as a way to look up providers.  Effective February 1st, the NPI for both the referring provider and the rendering provider will be required to search for providers. There are several NPI lookup tools available on the internet that can be used to locate a provider’s NPI.  If the provider exists in our system, you may also locate their NPI via our provider portal, Epic Tapestry Link, by utilizing our provider search function.

URGENT FLASH: Epic Tapestry Link and Evicore

NOTICE TO PORTAL USERS REGARDING PRIOR AUTHORIZAITION VIA EVICORE OR ALTRUISTA/GUIDING CARE AND SINGLE SIGN-ON With the recent change in provider portals on January 3, 2023 to Epic Tapestry Link, it has come to our attention that the single sign-on to external authorization vendors, Altruista/Guiding Care and Evicore, is no longer functioning. We've worked with Epic and our authorization vendors to come up with a temporary solution to this issue. In the meantime, we continue to work on a permanent solution where single sign-on will be restored within Epic Tapestry Link. In the interim please bookmark the link to Epic Tapestry Link to help facilitate this new workflow.
